What if you finally asked that raise from your boss?

I never asked for a raise. I only got it when my job was good. But, lately  in the mid of the crisis, I keep hearing people saying: “I am lucky to have a job. Forget the raise.”

I never asked for a raise. But, I did ask for my full compensation. If I hadn’t I would have lost around 3.000 €! The thing is crisis or not, you are part of a team that makes profit somehow. So the only thing that you have to do is to focus on making profit and inform your boss about it and people in the industry. Nobody wants to lose an asset. But, unless you see yourself as one and toot your own horn, nobody else is going to do that for you!
